Session
Convocation and session
The regular session is called biannually not longer than 40 days (1st: June & July, 2nd: November) and irregular session may be called at the request of more than 1/3 members not longer than 15 days, each; the total days of annual regular and irregular session may not exceed 90 days.
Regular session
- Convocation : Biannually (1st June & July, 2nd: November)
- Period : Not longer than 40 days
- Major activities
- The first session approves the settlement, and deliberates and votes the agenda considerations
- The second session audits the local government's administration, votes the budget plans and deliberates the agenda considerations.
Irregular session
- Convocation : Held by the head or more than 1/3 of the registered members
- Period : Not longer than 50 days per year
- Major activities
- Listening to the explanation of the administration and discussing the countermeasures
- Deliberating and voting the agenda considerations such as the council's ordinances
